Roger Wilson
b. 22 July 1961, Leicester, England. Having studied graphic design at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, Wilson, playing guitar and fiddle, became a full-time musician in 1984. He played a wide variety of folk festivals and clubs, rapidly gaining a name for himself. Coupled with British Council tours of Pakistan and Malaysia, he has played extensively in Germany and Europe. Roger has also toured Scandinavia and the British Isles, with the Lost Nation Band, which includes himself, Sara Grey and Brian Peters. Wilson's debut release, on Harbourtown, THE PALM OF YOUR HAND, was highly acclaimed in the folk music media. Since the initial impact of his appearance on the folk scene, he has continued with solo performing, session work, and working with his new band, Scam.
