Kim Mitchell
Having dissolved Max Webster in 1982 Mitchell quickly found inspiration to pursue a solo career. After inking a deal with Anthem Records he released a mini-album which followed closely in the Max Webster tradition. He then took a break from music until he signed with Bronze Records. His next release was the excellent and slightly offbeat AKIMBO ALOGO which also housed the single Go For Soda. At times reminiscent of the excesses of Frank Soda And The Imps and Neil Merryweather (c.1974), Mitchell's approach was, at times, misunderstood by the press, but there was no mistaking his obvious talent as a guitarist. He finally achieved critical acclaim with ROCKLAND though he has yet to produce a follow-up.
