Jenny Morris
b. New Zealand. Morris has surprised many with her solo albums, writing most of the material herself. Arriving in Australia in 1980 with the Crocodiles, a new wave pop band from New Zealand, Morris joined QED, who recorded a warm, but sadly-neglected album in 1984. After this she worked as a backing singer with bands such as INXS. Now touring with her own band, Morris has found mainstream airplay with her strong, modern pop songs. She toured Europe during 1990 as support act to Prince, and is now presenting a more raunchy image.
