K-Solo
b. Kevin Maddison, Central Islip, New York, USA. K-Solo is a part of the Hit Squad, the EPMD clique whose other members include Das EFX and Redman. Maddison had, in fact, been involved in a pre-EPMD band with Parrish Smith, before making vocal contributions to the group's UNFINISHED BUSINESS. Parrish would be on hand to provide production tutelage for K-Solo's debut album, a perfunctory demonstration of his story-telling skills highlighted by the stylish Tales From The Crack Side. K-Solo is an acronym for Kevin Self Organisation Left Others.
