Michael Fennelly
b. 1948, New Jersey, USA. Initially a minor figure in California's pop/protest movement, by 1967 Fennelly had secured a publishing deal with songwriter/producer Curt Boetcher's MEE MOO MUSIC. Together they assembled two studio-based attractions, the Millennium and Sagittarius, before Fennelly took control of struggling bar-band Stonehenge, later renamed Crabby Appleton. Despite complimentary reviews, the group's two albums proved unsuccessful and in 1973 the artist opted for a solo career. LANE CHANGER, recorded in London with the support of rock group Argent, highlighted Fennelly's powerful voice and guitar skills, but his second set, STRANGER'S BED, was less rewarding and failed to substantiate early promise.
