J.J. Fad
The break dance fad in the USA between 1985 and 1988 was known as the B-Boy period. This Los Angeles female rap trio, comprising M.C.J.B. (b. Juana Burns), Baby D (b. Dania Birks) and Sassy C (b. Michelle Franklin) came into fashion towards the end. Protégés of Eazy-E, their collective name stands for Just Jammin' Fresh And Def. Boosted by an eponymous Top 30-peaking single, their debut album made a small dent in the album charts, after which little was heard from the group.
