Fast Forward
This one-off side project from former Stories vocalist Ian Lloyd came to fruition in 1984. With the help of producer Bruce Fairbairn (of Loverboy and Bon Jovi fame) and a series of highly regarded session musicians, the end result was LIVING IN FICTION, a highly polished melodic rock album, featuring razor-sharp harmonies, swathes of keyboards and an infectious pop sensibility. Guest appearances included Mick Jones and Lou Gramm from Foreigner and Beau Hill ( Ratt producer) on keyboards. Songwriting contributions from Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance added further interest to the project, yet, surprisingly, it was a commercial flop. Consequently, plans to record a second album were abandoned.
