Eon
aka Ian Loveday, whose first interest in electronica and music was inspired by the legendary UK Dr Who television theme, created by the BBC radio workshop under the name Ray Cathode. Eon released a sequence of impressive singles: Light, Colour, Sound, Infinity, Inner Mind (featured in the film Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Spice. The latter was remixed by Loveday's longstanding hero, Juan Atkins, and featured samples taken from the science fiction epic Dune. He continued his association with Vinyl Solution for singles like 1992's horror film-inspired Basket Case.
