Tim Dog
b. Timothy Blair, 1 January 1967, Bronx, New York, USA. A dropout from St John's University in Queens, Dog's Fuck Compton shot was one of the most notorious releases in rap's chequered history. Yet this anti-NWA tirade (at one point he sings ‘Shut up bitch, You can't sing’ while having intercourse with Eazy-E's ‘girlfriend’) was an undeniably forceful epithet, for all its wanton tribalism (legend has it that it inspired death threats from the West Coast). Dog was also a guest member of Ultramagnetic MCs for a period, appearing on their Chorus Line anthem. In 1994 Dog made a surprise signing to Phonogram's Talkin' Loud label, home of the likes of Incognito and Galliano. He has since recorded a song, Bitch Wid A Perm, dedicated to Snoop Doggy Dogg, which helped to bring him back to notoriety.
