Dana Dane
A graduate of New York's High School Of Music And Art, notable for being the first hip hop star to offer his name to a fashion range or shop, which most major artists subsequently imitated, Dana Dane's reputation was also built on a solid musical platform (generally provided by DJ Clark Kent) of hard East Coast rhythms and smooth production. His quasi-British accent customised unusual, pop-orientated songs like Cinderella, which became a huge crossover success.
