b. Rosemary Brown, 30 August 1951, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Pop vocalist Dana was 19 years old when she won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 with the ballad All Kinds Of Everything. It reached number 1 in many countries, including Ireland, South Africa, Australia and the UK, selling over a million copies worldwide. She had sporadic UK chart successes with, Who Put The Lights Out, Please Tell Him That I Said Hello, It's Gonna Be A Cold Cold Christmas and Fairy Tale, all Top 20 hits, before switching to a career consisting of mainly pantomime, acting and numerous guest appearances on various television shows.
