D.J. Magic Mike
b. Michael Hampton, Orlando, Florida, USA. Critically and commercially ignored due to his south east location, Magic Mike is a talented rap producer and the executive vice-president of Cheetah Records. His most memorable moments arrived on his 1991 album, AIN'T NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, which featured highly commercial party raps like Suckers Frontin' and Just Crusin'. Other cuts like Class Is In Session were reprised for his collaboration with MC Madness a year later. All were flavoured with Hampton's distinctive use of house textures and Miami bass.
