Bob Call
Bob Call was a blues pianist, active in Chicago and best known for his accompaniments. He recorded in the late '20s with a number of artists, including Thomas A. Dorsey, Elzadie Robinson and James Boodle It Wiggins. Robinson's St. Louis Cyclone Blues was a particularly outstanding recording. He also recorded one single track under his own name at this time, 31 Blues. In 1948, he appeared on record again, one side a piano-led instrumental, the other featuring the vocals of Grant Jones.
