This US melodic AOR group were put together in 1979 by vocalist Peppy Castro (ex-Wiggy Bits) and session men Doug Katsaros (keyboards) and Bob Kulick (guitarist and older brother of Kiss' Bruce Kulick). Augmented by other hired hands, they debuted in 1981 with a self-titled album that came over as a three-way amalgam of Toto, Kansas and Journey. As interest built, the trio signed on bassist Dennis Feldman and former Brand X drummer Chuck Burgi to stabilize their line-up. IN FOR THE COUNT, which followed, assumed a harder direction and incorporated Foreigner influences. Attracting an encouraging media response, the album surprisingly failed to take off. Disillusioned, the band went their separate ways in 1982. Bob Kulick subsequently joined Meat Loaf's band prior to forming Skull. In 1987 Kulick, Feldman and Burgi were stated to be working together again with former Blue Oyster Cult vocalist Eric Bloom, but no recordings were forthcoming.
